On the occasion of the official visit of the Minister of University and Research, Sen. Anna Maria Bernini, in Ethiopia, the Italian Cultural Institute in Addis Ababa will host the event “Higher Education, Research and Innovation Collaboration between Ethiopia and Italy”, that will be opened by the Italian Minister and the Ethiopian Minister of Education, H.E. Berhanu Nega.
The Mattei Plan, developed by the Italian government, is dedicated to fostering mutual growth and establishing equitable relationships with key partners across Africa. In line with this vision, the Italian Ministry of University and Research is strengthening its relations with African countries in the fields of research and higher education, recognizing their pivotal role in addressing pressing global challenges and combating brain drain.
This event, organized with Italian private partners and Ethiopian institutions, is aimed at fostering cooperation in fields of common interest: agritech, infrastructure development, satellite and cyber, urban regeneration, and entrepreneurship.
