The Language Magician

The Language Magician

The Language Magician is an Erasmus+ Project, born in 2015 from a proposal of the Goethe Institute's representatives in London with the aim of creating an interactive game to be used as an aid for a correct assessment of the level of knowledge of a foreign language (Italian, Spanish, German, French and English), according to the indications contained in the Common European Framework of reference for language knowledge (CEFR), reached by primary school students.

The Language Magician is free and can be accessed online at the link:

The game consists of two levels:
Level 1 - addressed to pupils aged between 7 and 10, who have already completed around 100 hours of study in the chosen foreign language;
Level 2 - addressed to older students, with around 200 hours of foreign language study.
