The programme of the VI Italian Design Day in the World continues in Ethiopia. This year, the fixed appointment with architects, designers, academics and entrepreneurs in the sector is dedicated to the following theme: “Re-generation. Design and new technologies for a sustainable future”.
We are happy to invite you to our second event, the meeting with the famous architect, designer and academic Michele De Lucchi, testimonial of Italian Design Day 2022 in Ethiopia.
Among the protagonists of the avant-garde currents in architecture and design since the 70s, De Lucchi intertwines the different spheres of design in his work, creating design furniture, architecture and installations all over the world. He won the prestigious Compasso d’Oro Award several times and his objects and sculptures are exhibited in the most important museums all over the world. Michele De Lucchi is also the founder of Amdl Circle, a multidisciplinary design studio renowned for its humanistic approach to architecture, design and graphics, which focuses on Earth Stations, a new typology of buildings that use humanistic and technological knowledge to foster human relationships.
