"A Passage to Ethiopia and Eritrea", a collective exhibition: photography and multimedia curated by Antonio Politano
A visual story of a travel through two Countries, Ethiopia and Eritrea, seen through the eyes of photography students from different nationalities. 40 days of workshops of travel-photography and writing and training sessions in Addis Ababa and Asmara dedicated to local photographers.
The exhibition consists of two sections: on the one hand, 30 photographic prints; on the other, a multimedia editing with pictures, texts, short videos and sounds. The inauguration of the exhibition will take place at the same time in Addis Ababa (Italian Cultural Institute) and in Asmara (Casa degli Italiani), June 19, 2019, then in Rome (Macro, Museum of Contemporary Art in Rome) on June 20, 2019.
The project is led by photographer and journalist Antonio Politano together with Cultura del Viaggio Association, with the support of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (under the "Italy, Culture, Africa" Program) and in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute of Addis Ababa, the Italian School in Asmara, the Embassies in the two Countries.
