Opening of the art exhibition “Gygle’s”

Opening of the art exhibition “Gygle’s”, a collaboration between artist Leikun Nahusennay and his art students Giulia Stirpe, Yanet Yemane and Giada Piemonti.

Leikun Nahusenay is an Ethiopian artist who has completed his art training from the Ale School of Fine Arts in 2006. ‘Child art’ is one of the segments in which artist Leikun Nahusenay’s focuses on, as he believes that ‘Art is everything and everything is art’ also with the involvement of children who inspired him to create a long term project of collaboration and experimentation.
He has been teaching art to children for the past 25 years and the experience helped him to be inspired by their work results which led him in 2009, to organize a children’s group exhibition entitled ‘Ecole d’art au village’ a collaboration between the city of Gondar in Ethiopia and Versailles in France and in 2011 ‘Child Art I’ at Lela Gallery in Addis Ababa.
