National conference on the protection of heritage and the fight against smuggling of cultural heritage, organized in collaboration with PROHEDEV, Tigray Culture and Tourism Bureau and the Carabinieri Comand for the Protection of Cultural Heritage
The conference focuses on the system of protection of Ethiopian cultural heritage and represents an opportunity for dialogue and comparison with the advanced Italian model, which will be presented by the Ten. Col. Marra del Command Carabinieri Tutela Cultural Heritage. Philologist Dr. Hagos Abraha, expert in ethiopian manuscripts will talk about their historical values and Tsegaye Haile from Ethiopian INTERPOL will present the latest technological tools available in their organization for the fight against smuggling.
