Screening of the movie ‘All my compatriots’ (1968, by Vojtěch Jasný)

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Prague spring, the Czech embassy and the Slovak embassy “Movies by the Vault”, Golden age of the Czechoslovak cinematography of the 1960’s.

‘All my compatriots’ is the epic tale of a Czech village life from shortly after the end of the Second World War: The movie concentrates on the activities of a group of friends who are not beyond reproach in siding with a politically corrupt regime for material advancement.
