The Ethiopian stage of Flaminia Mantegazza’s exhibition “An Infinite Expectation of the Dawn”, promoted in collaboration with the Directorate General for Public and Cultural Diplomacy of the Farnesina, has been opened in Addis Ababa.
A large audience attended the vernissage, remaining fascinated by the inventive spirit and originality of the art works which strongly impress for their great strength and poetry.
Numerous Ethiopian cultural and academic personalities, exponents of the diplomatic corps and, above all, young people followed with great enthusiasm the exhibition itinerary masterfully curated by Prof. Giovanna dalla Chiesa and presented by the artist herself who invites us to reflect deeply on our fragile planet and its resources.
Flaminia Mantegazza also held workshops on the artistic reuse of paper for the pupils of the Italian School of Addis Ababa, stimulating the creativity of the little ones through sustainable behaviours.
The exhibition can be visited until 10th February 2024 at the IIC of Addis Abeba.
