Alessandro, a 22-year-old boy, accepts a job as Giorgio’s companion, a lively and entertaining 85-year-old poet. The two belong to profoundly different worlds, but their heterogeneity and initial distance will allow Giorgio to fall asleep serene and to Alexander to start finding his own balance that will bring him closer to his father and push him out of the emotional cage he had locked in.
