About Fare Cinema
Launched in 2018, the festival includes the organization of events dedicated to Italian cinema all over the world by Embassies, Consulates and Italian Cultural Institutes, with the twofold objective of making the best of our cinema known to foreign audiences and of enhancing the high level of Italian professionalism in the “film professions” abroad. Not only actors, directors, and screenwriters, but also editors, cinematographers, composers, costume designers, set designers and many others. A heritage of competence and professionalism that contributes to the high cultural level of our cinema and that constitutes a real added value of making audio-visual products in Italy.
Since 2020, as part of the “Fare Cinema” week, we also celebrate the Day of Italian Cinema in the World, promoted following the adoption of resolution n. 7-00225 (On. Acunzo and others) on the promotion of Italian cinema abroad, approved on December 11, 2019 by the Joint Commissions III (Foreign and Community Affairs) and VII (Culture, Science and Education) of the Chamber of Deputies.
