A two days workshop open to everyone: artists, adults and teenagers aged 14 and above. Blind Drawing proposes a challenge for participants, creating the conditions for the rapid transition from using the dominant left hemisphere of the brain (responsible for analytical and verbal functions) to activating the right hemisphere of the brain (which performs visual functions and is able to perceive and create images).
Roberti had developed exercises inspired by the techniques of Betty Edwards, an artistic practitioner who understood the relationship between the right hemisphere and the ability to draw. In addition, Roberti has combined these exercises with yogic breathing practices that slow down the respiratory rhythm in order to penetrate into an appropriate mental state. Therefore allowing the act of drawing to become a meditative practice.
