The Italian-Ethiopian festival opened by the world jazz icon, Mulatu Astatke, continues on the 29 and 30 April 2025 with two special concerts on the occasion of the International Jazz Day.
The double appointment, at the Italian Cultural Institute in Addis Ababa and African Jazz Village, represents the last stage of the “Jazz in Africa” project, a joint initiative of the ItalyMFA & Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone in Rome, presenting to ethiopian public a refined program focused on the trio’s latest album, “Red Rock”, including a new unreleased song inspired by the children of Addis Ababa.
