The Italo-Ethiopian Art Street has landed, for the first time in Addis Ababa, with the creation – thanks to the kind collaboration of the Municipality of Addis Ababa and Bonobolabo of Ravenna – of a large mural “Dante 700”. The painting is located near Sar Bet Square, has an area of over 170 square meters, and is divided into three connected sections, in which young Italian and Ethiopian artists interpret, in an ethnic and modern key, the Supreme Poet and his life, with the works “Dante the Ethiopian” (group “Addis Street Art”), “Inside” (Van Orton Design – Marco and Stefano Schiavon) and “The Divine Technique” (Nicola Varesco).
The creation of the mural is part of a larger initiative, aimed at giving life to a modern identity for the Supreme Poet.
